My tips are as follows:

1. Make sure you are fully investing yourself into following through with the business idea. A business will never fly if you are only partially investing your time, efforts and resources into it.

2. Create a business plan irrespective of whether or not financing is needed. The plan should help create a strategy for the business. Once the strategy is developed, execute it.
